Weil Aquatronics offers DRY PIT (or Adouble well@) centrifugal sump and sewage pumps in both horizontal and vertical arrangements. These pumps are designed to be installed adjacent to a wet well inside a separate underground equipment enclosure (dry well). They are also used on above ground wet wells, mounted outside and at the same level as the bottom of the basin. Many models are available with standard as well as submersible motors. The benefits of this arrangement are:

• Can use standard Aoff the shelf@ motors
• No need to enter wet well for maintenance or service
• Suitable for hazardous wet wells (explosion proof motors not required)
• Long service life with proper maintenance
